i finished coding stocks!!!! it took me a while because the RPG Maker MV source code is massive and hard to find things in and i've never used javascript before and i didn't know exactly how i would implement things so i regularly went on wild goose chases through the code/RPG Maker forums but they have now been implemented! yay
(see devlog 3 for a reminder of how stocks work. a few notes on that description: the 'trade' option replaces the 'guard' option; stocks do in fact cost blood; the price doesn't go up, it's always 10% of the user's hp; the stock crash lasts for 3-5 turns for now; and an actor can't invest in anyone else if their stock has crashed)
i did have to buy Yanfly's battle plugin pack in order to make the ability able to target allies or enemies (Selection Control was what i needed), increased the budget by a whopping £9. but all is now well
nothing else was done this month. i hope we finish this game
